The Angullong Vineyard sits in the picturesque foothills of Mount Canobolas in the high altitude, cool climate wine region of Orange in New South Wales. Established in 1998 by the Crossing family, the Angullong Brand is named after the family property which they have held for over 60 years.
Orange, the only wine region in Australia defined by elevation (above 600m) is a premium grape-growing region, combining an often extremely cool climate with ancient volcanic soils over limestone. As one of the region’s most diverse winegrowers, the Angullong Brand captures the Crossing family’s passion for alternative varieties, along with their respect for benchmark styles.
The “A Range” represents exceptional value, with varieties and blends that show generosity while maintaining their cool climate charm. The “Fossil Hill” Range of Sangiovese, Barbera, Tempranillo, Vermentino and Sagrantino confirm the region’s capacity to produce deliciously savoury, medium-weight wines that are built for enjoyment with food.
