Murray Street Vineyards has an impressive pedigree - holder of the coveted 5 Red Star rating from James Halliday it was also named Barossa Winery of the Year in the 2014 Melbourne International Wine Competition. Winemaker Craig Viney and team create some of the finest wines of the region, specialising in Shiraz and Shiraz blends from MSV’s own estates in the prime Barossa sub-regions of Greenock and Gomersal, as well as a number of carefully selected growers.
Their Black Label range is designed to highlight the unique characteristics of each of their individual varietals. Wines in this range include classic Barossa varieties - Shiraz, Mataro, Grenache and Cabernet, as well as a Semillon that will surprise and delight any Hunter Valley aficionado.
MSV is Murray Street Vineyards’ flagship label, comprising hand-crafted super-premium wines that are a pure expression of both varietal and terroir. The wines are immediately approachable but structured for cellaring and further development over an extended period. All wines are based on the great wine of the region - Shiraz, each providing a unique insight into the many different facets of the varietal.
