About Patrick of Coonawarra
Patrick of Coonawarra is a boutique winery established in 2004, owned and operated by the Tocaciu Family. Their flagships vineyards are located in their home region of Coonawarra, including the two hectares of Cabernet that surrounds the family homestead and which delivers the intensely concentrated fruit that goes into both Home Block and Grande Reserve Cabernets. However the family owns multiple vineyard sites across the Limestone Coast, allowing winemaker Luke the freedom to experiment with varietals not commonly associated with the Coonawarra region, such as Pinot Noir from Mount Gambier.
Estate reds are cellared for a minimum of 3 years before release, ensuring that every wine is in optimum drinking condition. An collection of limited edition wines are also available via our Cellar Direct list.
The ‘P’ Series by Patrick has been developed to showcase the Limestone Coast region, made exclusively from estate-grown fruit and crafted by the hands of the Tocaciu Family. The Limestone Coast is world renowned for its stunning beaches, heritage listed limestone caves, pristine lakes and exceptional food and wine. The Tocaciu vineyards are in the heart of the region and are managed with minimal inputs and using sustainable, environmentally friendly practices. The range offers a Sparkling Chardonnay/Pinot Noir (also available in Piccolos), as well as Sauvignon Blanc and the classic South Australian Shiraz-Cabernet blend, all at a price point that makes them an outstanding ‘go-to’ for quality pouring wines.
