Château de la Terrière Beaujolais, France

The Château de la Terrière has stood in the heart of the Beaujolais, facing Mount Brouilly. since the fourteenth century. Despite their heritage they are a very progressive domain, producing a Vin Sauvage to complement their traditional styles. The Beaujolais-Villages comes from a single vineyard (lieu-dit Le Tour Bourdon) in the Cru district of Régnié but due to the limited recognition of this particular Cru, they choose to declassify it and sell at Villages level with a more reasonable price point. This translates into a wine that truly over-delivers in price and quality.
